Christa Fogleman Proano is an award-winning tech comms exec with more than 15+ years of experience. From shaping the inception stories of Silicon Valley startups to post IPO — Christa’s time in tech resulted in leading innovation comms for the Fortune 1.

But her most meaningful work began at home. As a mother, Christa found herself drawn back to the simplicity of making something by hand. And what started as a creative outlet—evolved naturally into Gathered Standard. As in her previous roles — there is a certain kind of delight in delivering a thoughtful, elevated product.

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, both of Christa’s parents worked at NASA— and she was named after Christa McAuliffe—a legacy that continues to shape her belief in purposeful work today. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and their two daughters.
