The Gathered Peggy Bag

A drawstring bag to carry treasured items. Inspired by the original peggy purses worn decades ago. It was never about how old or new. It was always about what they meant and held.

A ribbon.
A note.
A coin.

Rooted In Timeless Memories

In the 1950s, young girls carried small drawstring purses—simple bags that held their most treasured belongings. My mother called hers a Peggy purse.

She carried it to school, carefully—holding only what mattered. Now, as a mother of two, I find myself returning to that same idea. An idea shared with me by the woman I keep closest, my mom.

A one-of-a-kind bag. Not for necessity—but for meaning.

Made for small moments— and for everything she carries closest.
